I never found MTP that funny. This clip is okay, smile inducing rather than laugh inducing. The other one is just a kids cartoon.

B is great! That much sustained slapstick in a cartoon? And the animation's not even that great, it's the dialogue and performances (supported immensely by the music, the best cartoon music ever outside of Carl Stalling) that do the work.
I get why people find A unfunny, but B? Best slapstick so far.

A isn't remotely funny, or even interesting. Robert deNiro can suck the joy out of anything, and Mr Stiller ain't the comic his dad was. B isn't a kid's cartoon. The Flintstones, based on the Honeymooners, was the first prime-time animated comedy, using the cheap animation techniques that made Hanna Barbera major players. As hatz sort of suggested, it's basically radio comedy with pictures. I'm not suggesting it's a work of genius, but it was, and is, a good bit of knockabout fun, and wins here by several streets and a mall.

There were better scenes in MTP ("Chinatown...")
B made me chuckle

God, who would pick a part from MTP? De Niro, funny? Comic timing? Please.
I've always enjoyed the writing in many cartoons, and while Flintstones isn't a top fave it was always enjoyable.

Meet the Parents was pretty bad, but that scene's ok, the stilted awkwardness works for me, though it's better before it gets to Puff the Magic Dragon.
I never liked The Flintstones, it was probably my first introduction to canned laughter, which really doesn't work. And I don't like farce, which is essentially what's happening here.

Still dead, you fookers, 4 years now. I appreciate your veneration, but damn banging on about Ziggy, Hunky, Aladdin, even Low makes me feel less. I don't even remember making those albums, my life was a mess. I was a mess. What about Earthling, Heathen, Next Day? I was happier then living with my beautiful Iman and Lexi, I miss miss so much.
I don't have much time. Things have so busy here, with the new drummer's arrival, Moon and Bonham have been at daggers. Oh, yeah it doesn't help that little twit, Rogers Nelson, keeps jumping into one one of their stools.Thank God, Ginger and Hal had no chance of getting here. I am sure they are happier where they are, both bastards lived their lives like they would be. Toodles, we'll talk later
