Part of the British Isles last time I looked But not British. In which case, neither is Northern Ireland, which is after all part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain [i.e the island] and Northern Ireland. Geographically, Ireland is British, because it's part of the British Archipelago. Politically, none of it is, although part of it is U.K.-ish. Not that I give a shit about any of this, of course, but it was dinned into me when I was editing, and I do like to wind up nationalists (not that I'm accusing you of that .

Yes but you can call someone from Northern Ireland British ( technically, politics aside), but that would be factually wrong to apply to someone from Southern Ireland. I'm right dammit!

I love RuPaul's Drag Race. The UK version was especially fabulous and had me laughing out loud. Ya'll are missing out.
