Sorry, but I found A terribly boring.
B is Nirvana by the numbers and good for what it is, although the last 30 seconds are unnecessary, quite an achievement for a 2:12 song

I was already well into my 20's when Nirvana hit, and they didn't change my life in any way, but A and that whole indie electronica hybrid was too boring for words. A reluctant B

Notwist epitomizes a certain millennial meandering mediocrity (for me)

I can remember the first time I got pissed and listening to Insecticide in a mates living room and bouncing off the walls to Sliver.

I like 'em both. I don't find A boring at all but then, I spend a lot of time in the political threads too, don't I?
I think it hits and maintains a slight buzz for it's running time. I like it quite a bit.

Glad to see Nirvana here, but that's not one of their best. Both attempt to make something out of 30 seconds worth of musical material at best. I suppose B does a slightly better job of it, but bleh.

A has some attractive musical qualities, but the wet lettuce of a vocal kills it for me. It is so mopey that you want to grab the singer by the throat and shout 'pull yourself together man'. B isn't much of a song, but Cobain's intensity makes something of it.

A needs to blow his nose.
B is just magnificent - one of Nirvana's undeniable top-class joy-blasts.

Yeah, A is ok, but just a bit too long for mine. B is still a great short, sharp shock.

I think I bought a Notwist album once by accident, and was surprised by how bland it was, I think I was thinking entirely of something else when I bought it. Might even have been this album, the circle looks familiar. Listening to this again though, there's a bit of craft to it, I like the precise, robotic way it all fits together, with the strings providing a bit of humanity. Quite nice, if just that bit too polished.
I never thought Nirvana all that exciting, to be honest, I never really thought they had much to them beyond Smells Like Teen Spirit. I mean, it's ok, but it's not spectacularly original or anything, and the vocals are probably the worst thing about it. Which is a feat for something with Grohl present.
