Pillowz and I just binged it. Love it. what - the whole lot?!? Not in one sitting. Sorry, didn't mean to imply...Just meant from beginning to end without diverting into anything else.. Well, we did watch some Flintstones, which was quite a contrast. Actually, Fred and Tony have some similarities - heavy guys, hair-trigger temper, smaller sidekick, etc...

20-year reunion. At 45 mins it's long but it's prompted me to want to watch the whole series again.
And maybe the point that it was one man's vision, not vulnerable to decisions in meetings and boards and panels is the key to it being so much better than much American TV.

Dominic Chianese's still alive? That's great to know. He's a legend.

That was fabulous. Emotional in places, which I didn't expect. Some tensions between actors too, I felt, and lots of great anecdotes. Thanks!

Which character would you say was the more odious - Livia or Janice?

Janice was born that way, I suppose. Livia probably got worse with age. So, Janice.
Mind, Janice did the right thing with Richie Aprile! (although I loved that character)

In August this year 'The Many Saints of Newark' will be released, a prequel to The Sopranos, starring Gandolfini's son as a young T.

Finally! Finally! B and I have finally finished the Sopranos! We only watched about three seasons during its initial run, so it's been a long time coming. I had an idea about how the whole thing ended, but B was taken completely by surprise and started cursing at the teevee.

It's fantastic television. What can I say? The run up to the ending starting from, let's say "Soprano Home Movies" seemed pretty friggin' impeccable to me. Seasons 4 and 5 were patchy, with too many 'filler' episodes, but also enough storyline momentum to keep it interesting, but it was a bit of a slog getting through. Once we got to season 6 the pace intensified and we got through all 21(!) episodes in a few weeks. I really liked the Vito Spatafore storyline and was hoping he'd come through it all unscathed, oh well.
