Yeah. I want to just shove fast food in my mouth and get on with it. Although, it needs to feel as if it has been cooked. That thing looks like it should have a nice crispy outside. Like nachos.
I want one now.
In a restaurant though- I want hot food, and let it cool at my leisure.

But you don't want steaming hot food in a restaurant either, do you? There's that happy medium so you can just get tucked into it straight away.

Well, most chefs want their food to be delivered to the table as soon as it's plated because they don't want the food to be too cold by the time everyone's ooh'd and aah'd over it and taken a dozen photos.

I wouldn't eat a Nacho anything made in England.
Reminds me of this.

But it's not steaming is it? You should be able to eat it comfortably is what I mean.
In michelin restuarants* I find the food is maybe a little bit cooler than yer average place but the I guess they have more elements to plate etc
*(fucking check me out)

In restaurants you tend to be ‘in company’ and not everyone gets served simultaneously. So it’s an advantage if your food is hotter then it needs to be.
If it comes out tepid I’m in a rush to eat it before it goes cold. The biggest problem is when they don’t heat the plates, and the cold plate accelerates the cooling process. Same with sticking chilled food on a plate, or cold tomatoes in a burger bun.

True.
Some days you just think to yourself "why do I bother even leaving the house?".

I like to preheat my mouth with hot water before each bite.
