No. I always fancied the idea, but then watched one of my friends do a charity leap. Sat with her husband and kids, watching as her chute didn't open properly and she span out of control, that will stay with me forever. She was fine, they managed to cut the chute away and open the reserve in time. But those few seconds seemed like a lifetime, and kinda put me off for good.

Never have, probably never will, but I was so heartbroken when Princess Diana died that I couldn’t go to work and my boss said I Di-skived.

If I thought it was worth the effort and expense, I would consider having my ashes strewn from a plane. But I don't.
One of those things that is just never going to even come close to happening. Dead or alive.

I watched diving on Sky Sports. Does that count?

I guess i'm having a 40-ish life crisis. I pretty much played it safe most of my life for certain reasons, and i've watch enough "you got to do shit that scares you to improve yourself" shows that some of it has a/effected me. I know 90% of it is shite for TV, but i think there's a grain of truth to it. So skydiving with a lifelong fear of heights is me getting out of my comfort zone. Exciting huh? not really.

Try bungee jumping instead - much cheaper!

Bungee jumping out of a plane is probably a bad idea though.

I was all set to try it until I read this, honest.

I fancied doing a skydive years ago but never bothered. I would like to do it.
I have bungee jumped and people who I know have done both say bungee is scarier because it's less abstract, you are closer to the ground and you have to jump yourself rather than being strapped to someone else. I dunno about that.
Maybe one day I'll jump out a plane.
