i really enjoyed the video accompanying A and appreciated it's nod to russ meyer. it made me like the song more than i would have done if it had come on the radio, but ultimately it's not very good.
i'm not a fan of television but this is one of my favourite tracks of theirs.

B, obviously. Although A is slightly amusing while it's happening.

A nice track from an overlooked album, "Days" has a bit of Jangle DNA in it and reminds me of The Bats (NZ)... White Zombie is White Zombie..All their tracks sound the same to me..Nothing wrong with that, it's just not all that interesting...Vote B

A is awful. B is pretty, but a little too middlebrow bland indie for me. It's probably responsible for the less palatable side of REM.

White Zombie? Something has gone wrong lads.
I like the pastoral side of Television and I've always dug this song. The easiest choice I'll ever have to make (until the next DF tie)....

Cheers A!

Someone's gone off radar and picked a rock song! Stone the heathen! Obviously, White Zombie aren't actually any good, but thank fuck for a break from tasteful soul and 60s rock. The vocals are the worst thing, the bass has nice scuzziness to it, but those vocals are just a kind of one-note hoarse dalek. Exactly the kind of thing I'd expect to hear at a rock night, which is why I never liked rock nights. Reminds me of Soundgarden, but I don't know if that's an accurate comparison or just my vague idea of Soundgarden.
Television's another safe pick for the preludin masses, even if it isn't off Marquee Moon. It's actually not as bad as I expected, again the vocals are terrible, but that ascending guitar thing is quite pretty. Oh, that chorus is ugly, really horrible 70s production thing, daaaaaayyyyyys daaaaaayyyys daaaaaaayyys. Ugh, why record that bit? Why do that? Why? WHY? For the love of God.
Ok, I'm voting A, just because it's going to lose, and it's a rare out of comfort zone choice.

I hesitated for a moment, thinking 'fuck Verlaine and his oh-so-tasteful picking', especially because I quite liked A.
But that Television track is so beautifully melodic, I was charmed.

I like some of the psychedelic guitar shredding in A, but the sludgy drums and those vocals … good god, I can't be having it. B is fine; hard to get too excited about it but it's melodic and enjoyable.

Seeing the match I was expecting an easy vote for B, but I surprised myself enjoying A quite a lot, while B was ... well, not much.

Props to A for having the balls to go with a Rob Zombie track, but it's absolutely pants unfortunately. I'm not sure how I feel about B as a selection in the cup, it's skirting the "obvious pick" line, but as a track it's a good 'un of course. B
