I love both Sinatra and Jobim, but the combination of the two doesn't work, at least not here. But I have to vote for it over B (in fact I think I would doubt between a toothache and B)

I have a lot of time for Frank, and indeed, a CD or two. This kind of light latin-jazz thing does nothing for me though, it's all so smoothly nytol nighttime nothingness. Almost offensive in how inoffensive it is.
Maxinequaye (and for that matter Dummy) is that ultra-rare beast, a classic which deserves most of its plaudits. This is a nytol overdose, swimming through a sea of treacle, a weird half-remembered dream of a rap track. It's a slice of perfection; sound construction, vocals, everything is perfectly placed and perfectly paced.

Well, this certainly raises the bar over match 1. Both of these are great - the scratchy, disoriented narcotic haze of B has been a RT favourite since its release and its a pity for B that its also been a Cup favourite as well. A is less well travelled in Cup terms and is as cool as a breeze in July - and if it also conjures images of cocktails and fine tailoring, I'm not complaining. Lovely.

Both of these tracks washed over me without leaving much trace. B was quite annoying in the end.

Even though it sounds like Frank was singing this while seated in a lounge chair, it still edges Tricky's gloop.
