Where have you been all my life A?
I loved this to bits. Great, aching vocal with all the playing and arrangement just right. It's the kind of deep soul arrangement you hear a lot but you rarely hear it done as well as this. The whole thing pulled me in and was intoxicating to listen to. Okay, the bits where it goes into a brisk foxtrot are a little odd, but I guess on further listens they integrate into the overall thing the record is doing. Superb.
B is good but can't help sounding a little ordinary after A. Lovely sounding record with a great riff, but let down a little by the song itself.
Would get my vote in many other ties, but...

A's fine but a bit too Weetabix for my tastes
First time I've heard any ISB and I quite like it. It gets the vote here

A is a preludin wet dream. i'm not much of a fan of southern soul and this track is all fur coat and no knickers.
despite parsons being pictured with what looks like a dead animal on the video, i appreciate its rawness.

I really liked both and if I was Toomanyhatz I'd vote B because A's getting all the love.
But I'm not.

You wish, big boy.
Both are intriguing, but B ultimately fails because it's a bunch of interesting noises with no center. It's amazing how much it can meander in just over 2 minutes. But then that's typical of the absurdly overrated Parsons.
I'm not about to vote against A because "it's getting all the love" when it deserves it.

It's not getting that much love anyway, Skope and JC slagged it off!

B is a really interesting track, in that i enjoyed it to some extent because it has some really nice elements, but they just dont seem to gel into a seamless whole for me. There's elements of garage rock, folk rock, even Beatles elements to my ears, but the song itself just doesn't come together so well. A on the other hand works very well: it tries for sultry and sumptuous soul and hits it dead on. Love the vocals.
