Oh, I almost missed this tie, only realised as I was playing "rank the round". A is the 500th left-over from the BCB 70s cup.
B is the 500th a.n.other 60s rock band track. FFS.
abstain.

A is the kind of thing I don't expect to ever get tired of discovering. There may be a lot like it, but still I get touched when I hear a new one. Not familiar with B and a quick check revealed that it was one of the first ISB recordings. Not really bad, but just another fifth rate 60s obscurity where the only interest might be that Parsons was around. Unlike what happens with A, I have lost interest in this kind of things long ago.

In spite of G creaming his Preludin pants in full view it has to be...

Noble crate-digging going on here, but I wasn't particularly impressed with either tbh - the rubbish speaker on my laptop, all that I have available, may have something to do with it. abstain for now
Edit. B it is

Best tie of the round so far - two smart obscurities to ponder. I love Luxury Liner - the only ISB song I knowingly know - and B is less than that if still very enjoyable. Unlucky as A's Weetabix overload is just too much for it.

I used to listen to the ISB's "Safe At Home" quite a bit, but I'd never heard this one before. I love the riff, but it's let down by a weak chorus (so weak, in fact, that I'm not even sure if it IS a chorus). A's pretty groovy and I like that little double-time bit when it pops up, but I think I'd prefer B on repeated listens (and that riff hasn't left my head yet)

Yeah, A is really good. There's real power and passion to it. B's alright too for this sort of stuff, but again, more of the pile. A

so it turns out that after G jizzed all over A, the rest of preludiin followed suit and gave it a proper bukakke. unbelievable. i listened again with a sackful, only to have my original thoughts confirmed that A is just a very ordinary, generic, dull southern soul work out. desperate times. i shall save my load in the hope that round 7 can provide the required stimulation.
