a tie i can get behind. i love both of these. the opening riff to B is great, but it never really capitalises on it and meanders without much purpose. lovely listen, tho'. A comes from an alternative 80s, sourcing the feelgoods and 60s garage.
A because i want to pogo to it.

A is spirited but ultimately pretty limited.
B is marvelous! I've liked what little Condello I've heard (including good ol' "Soggy Cereal" from the best volume of Pebbles) and am now down a rabbit-hole. The album that it's from is great so far, and I'm not sure I've ever heard it all the way through. I think he may have been some sort of genius.
Contender for best track of the whole damn competition so far (but listen to "Guess I Better Go"! Even better!)

I liked B until he started singing. It's all a bit mimsy and soft psych lite. A is fairly standard but has more purpose and strut.

A is hup,2,3,4 bollocks. Just ruined by the vocal/lyric. Shame cause I liked the energy.
As others have said, the singer on B is atrocious.
a, but not greatly.

For probably the only time ever, I'm in full agreement with Fonz with A. The riff and energy were great, but it was sunk by the laziest, most inept 'chorus' I've heard in a while. Did they really think shouting 1,2,3,4 every 20 seconds was a good idea? How bereft of musical ideas do you have to be to come up with that? I thought B was a lovely, lilting track full of late sixties soft pop goodness. I liked the vocal fine too, although it probably is a bloke, if the cover is anything to go by, if you treat it as a female vocal then it fits fine! One of the tracks of the round for me.

Well, A's one of the weakest things I've heard for some time. Takes a very generic riff, and then decides to make it even more tedious.
B sounds like The Carpenters trying to get included on The Nuggets compilations, or something that would have been a filler on Gather in the Mushrooms vol 96, a real barrel scraper of a lost psyche effort.

a Well, it's got the buzz-saw guitars, and martial beat, but no song, or not much else of interest. Oh the guitar solo is pretty decent and they're very cross about something. Um, 4 / 10 b Starts interestingly, but then that foppish falsetto comes in and you think, What the Fuckety Fuck? His normal tenor is Ok, although there's a taint of Bea*les about the arrangement and it doesn't remotely delic my psyche. 4 / 10
I will ponder, maybe listen again

A is ok, good energy, but B has it covered. More interesting sound and tune.

B is "The Carpenters trying to get included on The Nuggets compilations..."..(DF pretty much nails that) A sounds like a bargain basement Sonics tribute band who had 30 seconds of a demo version of "Birth, School, Work, Death" they wanted to make into a song, so they just repeated the time to fill out a track...
Which is the bigger sin...ugh...can't handle the psyche stuff right now, so Vote A it is...such a Ringing endorsement...

A tie I have enjoyed I must say. A is basic and limited but good fun, nothing wrong in my book. But B is something else and I have no trouble with the singer, in fact the falsetto did not surprised me because I was getting some reminiscence to Something in the Air right from the start.
