A is OK for the first couple of minutes. Dulled into submission is not a trance.
B is very run of the mill, but makes a better sound.

Good opening tie.
You're either into the kind of ambient jazzy drum and bass of A or you're not. It's one of those genres that it's difficult to be neutral about. Luckily for me, I am ( I was a big fan of Bukem back in the day). I was worried A wouldn't be much more than an interesting drum track, but it really expanded its sound as it progressed. It's like a nocturnal journey into a European city at 3 in the morning. I suspect most won't have the patience for it and that would be a shame.
B is very good sixties garage and delivers a proto-Stooges sound. The song isn't as good as the performance (often an Achilles heel of this type of record).
It's close, but partly because I think it'll need the votes.. A

Blimey, someone's gone in off the deep end and picked something radically weird and alien to the preludin populace. To be honest, I'm much more of a fan of jungle than drum n' bass, the attack of the ... err ... drums and bass, the catchy mania of the vocals, it was always more engaging. This is on the looser, jazzier side, and it feels a bit clunky to be honest from the start. It's not flowing as you expect this stuff too. Squarepusher did this kinda thing didn't he? Not listened to him in ages. This stuff always reminds me of the death music to Parallax on the C64. Which was nice, but all too frequent. Odd pick.
Bloody hell, Pebbles volume 7? And I thought Mission to Moscow was an unnecessary sequel too far. I guess the echoing "ba da dum" bit is ok, but how much of this stuff does anyone need?

B is very good sixties garage and delivers a proto-Stooges sound. One man's proto-Stooges is another man's Who copyists, albeit with a far less flamboyant drummer. Still, it's better than A, which I listened to all the way through in the name of fairness. The best I can say about A is that it's interesting but the drum sound is dreadful. Oh, and it doesn't really do anything other than just sit there and go through my ears. B

I get that it's not everyone's cuppa, and that some are tired of hearing 'the sound of 66' in these matches, but the idea that B is 'run of the mill' is so far off it's difficult to believe the comment was meant seriously. For a mere Nuggets tune there's some serious studio innovations and fucked-up sounds going on there
A is bollocks anyway, some kids farting about with machines

There’s a lot of invention in A. I don’t know how innovative it was when it came out, but it’s a real ear-opener. What seems pretty simple initially has a lot going on. I like the way it evolves over its admittedly long duration, but I was captivated. I’d be interested in hearing more.
Nothing much to say about B. Standard.

Good match. A is very much NOT in the Prely wheelhouse while B comfortably is, but i like both very much. A for the surprise factor.

B started nicely but got messy and directionless in a short while. And A got me hooked all along. Unexpectedly
