la donna invisibile - morricone
i regularly strutted around kensington market in my paisley shirt from the regal and sweet charity hipsters, with walkman in my pocket listening to 'la moda' and living the dream.

Two of my very favorites are Model Shop (by Spirit) and One From The Heart (Tom Waits with Crystal Gayle). In both cases I don't much care for the movie, but the soundtrack is great!

Blaxploitation ones
Superfly Shaft The Mack Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song Black Caesar
Apparently That's The Way Of the World is a soundtrack but I've never seen the movie.
Deadlock is a pretty cool acid western and has some Can songs on it. The Warhol/Morrissey film with John Cale's score --I can't remember the title.
Edit - The movie was titled "Heat"
Academy In Peril --Jesus it sucks to get old.

Alain Gorageur La Planète Sauvage. An absolute masterpiece. I'll try and embed a video later, if there is one. Perhaps I'll choose it as my album nomination. In terms of movies people have heard of,Midnight Cowboy has always been a real favourite.

There's a few I love where I haven't even seen the film. Apocalypse of the Animals by Vangelis, Sorcerer and Firestarter by Tangerine Dream, Ascenseur pour l'echafaud by Miles Davis, for example.

Yes, the Miles album is notable.
I’d also say N/NW (Hermann) and original Get Carter.
