A is one of the greatest pieces of music ever. Agreed. I remember my Opa playing it. On 78, I meant to mention. It sounded kinda scratchy.

I struggle with Wagner, and opera in general. I have the Solti Ring cycle which I play every 2-3 years. It’s hard work, and at this point in my life I’m not sure the reward is enough. I’d have to live with A for a while to get into it. I wonder if Hitler really enjoyed Wagner, or if he just said he did to try and impress the laydeez.
Pitchshifter are great. I prefer mid period PS to the early stuff. There’s a thread somewhere about social commentary. This group nailed it.

Is it wrong that through the whole of A i had images of Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny dressed up in operatic armour singing to each other? Well, it made me smile. B didn't, really.
