What kind of comedy do you want to sustain this thread? I find it's better to ask upfront because people expect different things.
Sitcom or sketches like above or stand up routines?

With the death of Bob Einstein a few weeks ago, I was reminded this joke he told Seinfeld in Curb Your Enthusiasm as Marty Funkhouser. I think it's funny anyway.

Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is a great online show where Seinfeld sits down with comedians and discusses comedy and life over coffee. He did one with Obama a couple years back and I urge people to see it. Here are a couple clips.

The assman bit is a take off from the Seinfeld episode where Kramer gets his license plate switched with a proctologist.

My son has kinda become a comedy aficionado like me and watches stand up comedy specials on TV. Many times, I don't really enjoy the new breed of internet comedians he usually likes, but he's started liking Bill Burr, who was never really on my radar even though he's been around a long time. He's a very frank and honest comedian and I thought this was a pretty funny routine.

One of my favorite characters is Martin Short as Jiminy Glick. I tried finding his interview with the rapper, Drake, which was pretty good, but his interview with Ice Cube is pretty good too.

An offshoot of Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, Fernwood Tonight was a mock talk show hosted by Martin Mull as Barth Gimble along with his sidekick Jerry Hubbard, played by Fred Willard. Here's the pilot if you're interested further, almost all the episodes are on YouTube.
