The NLD was a terrific game. I thought Arsenal restored a lot of pride with that second half performance. i enjoyed it too and thought arsenal probably did enough to edge it, but i was happy that it ended in a draw.

I'm not sure what is worse for City; losing Laporte or realising that letting go of Kompany last season might have been the wrong decision. They suddenly look perilously poor in the centre of defence.

It was Kompany's decision to leave I thought.

Perhaps, but not getting adequate cover seems like a decision that could backfire. It already feels like incidents such as Laporte's injury could be decisive in deciding the league, so tight are the margins between them and Liverpool.

Pep always seems to undervalue central defence, remember when he converted Mascherano to centre half for Barca? I was never convinced by that one, although it didn't stop them winning loads of trophies. I agree we've always been looking for chinks in the Man City armour and this looks to be one. Zinchenko at full back hasn't impressed me either. I think I'd play Walker at centre-half instead of Ottomendi who looks like he can no longer cut it at this level.

We're going nowhere under Dick. Get rid at the end of the season.

quite a turnaround from watford. i thought they were dead and buried at half time. arsenal's defence is woeful. dick is struggling with the language. he comes across as a fool.who would you bring in, G?

We're going nowhere under Dick. That's a little unfair. I believe you have trips planned for Frankfurt, Liège and Guimarães in the next few months. And you'll always have Baku.

as for the ev, they are a complete car crash. why spend 30m on a forward and play DCL instead of him? silva the snake comes across as a miserable sod. pickford and keane will play themselves out of the England team before the season's out.

They were the better team in the first half too, we just lucked out through scoring twice from the only two attacks we had. We have two world class finishers in Laca and Aub, the rest of the team is pretty pony. Midfield is a joke. I don't know who I'd bring in, maybe the Norwich manager..there's a lot of good coaches out there. I get a real "Don Howe" vibe off Emery.

'aub' clearly is, but for how long, as he hits his 30s? both arsenal and man u have their worst squads i can remember in the last 10 years. uncle stan is going to have to dig deep if arsenal are going to get anywhere near the top 4. i can't see that happening, i really can't G. i wish i could offer more comfort.

They bought David Luiz, which says it all. There is not a single Arsenal defender that is good enough to play in any of the other Top 6 clubs.
All talk of finishing in the top 4 is over until they improve upon it.

I still think Luiz will come good.

All talk of finishing in the top 4 is over until they improve upon it. It's not just the defence Toby. Apparently Arsenal have conceded more shots at goal this season than other club in Europe's top five leagues. That's a mind boggling statistic and shows we have no control over games at all. As poor as Luiz and Socratis have been, they're being left horribly exposed. Emery hasn't got what it takes as a coach, I've seen enough now to say that with total confidence.
