Actually like the Borat character, but this deleted scene grows tiresome...The Murphy clip, when one blocks out the obvious discomfort the name "Cosby" currently engenders and the fact the "kid" mentioned was murdered, is a mildly amusing imitation of the two comedians...Vote A

There didn't seem to be much wit in A, it seemed to be more of a self-congratulatory worship of celebrity type thing.
Whilst there are more obviously funny Borat scenes, I find this kind of surreal humour much more my thing. Just the way he kept pushing it made me laugh because you keep expecting him to move away from the repetition. It's the repetition that makes it funny in fact.

The Cosby imitation is pretty good, and made me laugh for a second. I also laughed when B went down to the second row and continued, but after that it was just beaten into the ground.
Both are mostly unfunny, but at least A delivers a new joke after the first few seconds.

A isn't great, Eddie Murphy's stock really did fall after his 80s heyday. It's strange that he has a routine talking about how much he was influenced by Richard Pryor, and trying to sound like Richard Pryor, because that was pretty much all he had.
I get that the extreme repetition is the attempted humour of B, but it also doesn't work cos the guy he's with has seemingly endless reserves of patience. Baron Cohen was only ever funny in his 11 o'clock Show stints as Ali G, by the time he made it huge and escaped from the short-format shackles, he'd pretty much worn his schtick out. And Borat never worked that well, even with enforced brevity.

Neither are really very funny to me, i'm afraid. That's a shame because i like both of these guys very much at times. I'll go for A because i like Eddie's performance a bit more.

Baron-Cohen is an unfunny cunt. This 'skit' is an exemplar of that
