Bobby Elliot is indeed something special. So, when you get right down to it, is Nash.
The songs? Some of them. Compared to the Pretties, the Move, the (Small) Faces, let alone the Stones, Kinks, Who, etc.?
If anything people tend to overrate their average stuff because their best is so good. But there's comparatively little of it.

Good pop songs, but they're not a band to get excited by and their sound was pretty lightweight and slightly generic. In that sense they're like the sixties equivalent of Squeeze or someone like that.
