I was positively addicted to the first five seasons, so much so that they kind of felt like "the full arc of the story" to me. I gamely watched six (and made an effort at the beginning of seven), but it did become one of those things like the Simpsons where I felt pretty okay drawing a line somewhere. The haste with which they brought Cheryl back was one of those moments where I felt like they'd maybe lost their footing.
How were eight and nine?
I'll say - there are so many moments from the peak of the show that come up in everyday life as sort of relevant references (Larry getting rear ended while leaving an apologetic message to Irv Schwimmer, shit like that).

My son is a huge fan. I like it, but not like my son. For his birthday, I got him this. Another funny show with David, is Clear History. If you like David, check it out.

I've lost track of the last couple of seasons.
I think the show did peak between roughly seasons 3 and 6 but, fuck, there are still yucks and it's always enjoyable watching them do their thing.
They've provided enough magic and yucks. A genuinely great show.

There were some great moments last season. Larry dressed up as Skunk Baxter very memorable.
It’s a ‘must watch’, chez Fonz.

I have a hard time remembering whole seasons but I'm pretty sure season eight was a fair bit better than nine. It's always worth watching, and I hope the fact that the next lot comes fairly soon after the last means he's on a roll and we see some inspired moments. At least.

can't wait. Last year was a bit down but still some great moments.
J.B. Smoove has made the last few seasons better.

They loved it here too. I thought it was too 'broad strokes', too much going on.

I'm always impressed by how well they set up things to pay off later - like the Weinstein reactions and the talcum powder.
