Yes I really like the whole album It comes from but the sound is so compressed I can only take in small doses.

It's sooooooo long and repetitive. And it's basically the same idea as their very first singles, just stretched out longer.

Sounds like someone got a fairlight synth for Christmas. Just needs to work out how to play it.

Is it just me, or does their recent song have an uncomfortable similarity to 'Dancing With Myself'?

Is it just me, or does their recent song have an uncomfortable similarity to 'Dancing With Myself'? The review of the album in Pitchfork said exactly the same thing so it's not just you. I'd listen to the track for myself if I had a goddamn second to be alone!

So much to hate, just where to begin, a band most likely to self fellate themselves from a city that self fellates itself. They kinda stand for all the hubris, laziness, and entitlement that is Manhattan. Can they even play?

It's fine - didn't really have a ton of staying power for me. On the surface it's a better song than "The Modern Age" so I can't quite explain why I like tMA so much more. Might be the vocal performance, might be the fact that it's more immediate. Maybe I recognized their trick bag by the time I'd heard it. Not sure what it is, but it doesn't still get me. In fact tMA might be the only song that still does. It seems to have some magic to it that I can't put my finger on.

Have to vote "No." Not very good. There isn't much of a musical or lyrical idea here. Sounds like it was put together and recorded in 5 minutes - and not in a good way.
