I read her occasionally. She's obviously very sharp & witty. The problem for me is I don't always understand her jokes or what exactly it is she is referring to.

No. The Guardian is free. That's mostly why I read it so much.

George Monbiot is my favourite Grauniad journo. I think he's terrific.

George Monbiot is my favourite Grauniad journo. I think he's terrific. He is indeed, but he is a campaigning journalist, and rarely does jokes. MH is a features writer and columnist, and is as funny as all get-out

I think he's hopelessly idealistic if I'm honest. Little or no understanding of how economics affects nature.
I met him a few years ago at a celebration drink for my brother, who is a director of London Wildlife Trust. He's very personable.

Haven't read any of work but, she worked for the sun and married some juck with a fucked up version of the name Ciaran. Don't like her.

Haven't read any of work but, she worked for the sun and married some juck with a fucked up version of the name Ciaran. Don't like her. She was a temporary secretary at The Sun, she never wrote for them. In fact the rag has tried to sue her on more than one occasion because she ripped the piss out of them. And the spelling of her husband's name is hardly her fault, or indeed his.
I know that prejudice and bigotry save time, but you should read something by her before dismissing her, Mark, she's very funny Writes about football as well as politics
