Cute that both go the 'floaty psychedelia' direction. Both of these are a bit wimpy, but since B is the second-weakest song from a great record, I'm giving A the kitsch value nod.

Sorry A, as sweet as you are, you never stood a chance against the mighty Love (altho' I agree with hatz that it's not an especially strong track from the band)

a I was kind of enjoying this until the flute started shrilling in one ear. It's got a real edge to it. Surely it's not the dreaded piccolo? Kind of ruined a bit of harmless wimpery, I thought. b Third-weakest on the album in my opinion, but the better ones don't have Tjay Cantrelli playing flute on them. I was always up for Bryan MacLean's tunes and was quite surprised when he more or less disappeared after the band fell apart. Wins here.

A could have done with better production. It's a passable song but the flute is too much in the foreground and gives the vocals a disservice.
I never bothered much with Da Capo despite my love of Forever Changes. I'm not fully sold on the song as such, but the flute playing works better here.

Great match, lovely 60s flutey pop fluff. B certainly has the better production, but A's charms are just as good for me and i'm happy to reward them for digging a little deeper.

Great tie, both picks right up my street. A just edges it, for being unknown and also seems better built as a song. Glad to see my vote evening things a bit too.

I love both. I don't regard A as being a deeper cut though, I first used it back in 2008!

B is one of the rare Love songs I actively dislike.
A is a real find, I guess I have to thank G for it!

A's got an awful generic psychedelic lead vocal, and terrible wishy-washy backing vocals. I think it might only be the snatches of flute I like, though the snare is nice and crisp too.
I guess I'm the only person here without an opinion on Love, positive or otherwise. I used to have Forever Changes on cassette, but I can't remember anything about it. This is pretty similar to the first track, but not quite as generic, and with less offensive vocals. The flute is really nice, too.

I didn't mind A. It's the kind of pleasant thing you'd find on Fading Yellow
B is always a delight though

A is blissfully fruitfullly melodically flutefully with a boot full of guts to boot.
B is booring.
