Was never a fan of Warwick apart from her two or three huge hits (which have less to do with her and more to do with Burt). It's that sterile vocal, which is very much a feature here, and it means the whole thing just leaves me...indifferent.
I liked B quite a bit!

Warwick is the ultimate Bacharach singer.
B just makes a really unpleasant noise. What G said about dEUS applies here.

I love Warwick's voice on this with its confident clarity. It's the best thing about the record in fact. One of Burt's less involving melodies, I've always found it too repetitious. B wasn't for me at all.

I've never been a fan of A, i'm afraid. It just doesn't hit me like many other Bacharach songs do. B, well, is possibly 90s metal but I have no knowledge of this band or this genre in general. The drums sound TERRIBLE, but some of the guitars sound ok. That's enough.

Obviously, I'm well known for my adoration of Bacharach, and I find it hard to vote against something that's written through my very core like the words "I luv Blackpool" through a stick of rock. But it's not his most exciting effort, it's a bit of a limp shuffle.
I like the intro guitar squeal line to B, I think that's a fairly neat representation of electricity. I find this kind of over-produced nu-metal thing all a bit formulaic though, the excitement of the electric squeal is undermined by the chuggalong power-chords. Vocalist gives it a bit of extra mustard though, and in the end, it's an easy winner here and a braver pick.

B is Brilliant
I can’t believe fange doesn’t like the drums. They’re super intense.

You’ll get a sore throat if you carry on like that, B-singer.

A, easily. I find I'm actually quite fond of it. (The less said about B, etc)
