I mean, game over and all that, but 'Feel It' is such an impossibly great record and a huge personal favourite that it both hurts and bewilders me that people are so indifferent towards it. It's like they take all the great elements of the genre and distil them into something so groovy it causes pictures to fall off walls and cats to howl at the moon.
Dig how the wheezing organ takes it all up to a new level at 0:50! the breakdown that starts at 1:27! the key change around 2:00! the thundering bass-and-drums break at 2:12! and how the whole band sort of take the stage for a frantic farewell from 3:00! this is the kind of shit I live for.
It makes me think of dog food, for some reason. It's as good as 'Worried Worried', 'Neurotic Reaction', 'Need Me' and other nutso tunes of that golden age - YES, THAT GOOD - for a while it seemed even the Canadians and the Germans were drinking the same dirty water as the crazy Yanks. 'just another garage rock record' this is most decidedly not.
