Do people really listen to things like A for pleasure? What an ugly sounding record. I have to be in the mood for B these days as I've heard it too often over the years. Still it sounded suitably stirring and triumphant t me just now. It pisses over its competitor anyway.

I love A
one of my favourites of the time, a really striking update of the Velvets' messier moments. I went to see dEUS in Berlin shortly after this came out - it was a wild gig, one of the very last times I got completely off my face. I ended up nearly falling onto the U-Bahn tracks after the show and ended up at the house of the people who rescued me!
Never liked KB apart from 'Wuthering Heights' (which I absolutely adore).

I liked A too and didn't find it ugly at all. It might be a bit dissonant, but I don't think it's designed to make anyone uncomfortable. I think it's kids making noise.
I like the first few minutes of B well enough but it dragged on a bit. In the right mood her music can be glorious. Right now it's hitting me as pompous and uninviting. In fact part of me even feels about it the way G feels about A.

I found A brilliant and left me asking for more, should check this band. B is a beautiful tune with a fine production, but definitely there is not enough in the song to fill almost 7 minutes.

Woo, Belgium's two biggest bands in one round, it's as if Brexit never happened. I'm with G here, too an extent, the parts with the shouting and the rubbish siren thing are just ugly and annoying. The other bits are bland and wet, and the entire thing is just a simplistic indie record trying to stand out from the crowd with irritation rather than song or energy.
Utah Saints, Utah Saints, Utah Saints, U-U-U-Utah Saints! Where's me glowsticks? As I've said a million times, I love Kate Bush's voice, but she never seemed to have the songs, and you have to be wary of anyone who was that close to Peter Gabriel. This, it has to be said, is one of her better efforts, though it's all a bit polite and stately for that rubbish synth sound to work. The violin riff is a bloody good riff though, and even if U-U-U-Utah Saints did use all the best bits to better effect, this is still way better than a pretty poor competitor.

I can't get with A, sorry. Too annoying in those sireny sections, and the vocals too - the electric piano section seems so out of place, a pocket of beauty in a dreary land. B is too long, but some lovely moments that still give me a lot of pleasure.

The noisier A is, the more I like it’ll. BUT, I’m a sentimental old sack of shit. I’m still waiting for something good to happen. B

I’ve got to give it to A. The vid is annoying, as is the violin...
I like KB but this is not her best.

a not familiar with dEUS, first track I've heard by them. I was OK, but I found the repetition a bit uninteresting, and the violin was a bit Curved Air, which isn't really a good thing And I am of course exceedingly familiar with this. While I quite like some indvidual tracks here and there, Hounds of Love is the only album that I really like - even bought it full price! – by Miss Tory Pixieboots AND I was always a fan of Wilhelm Riech, too, my kind of Crowleian shaman/scientist: always had a vague yen to try an orgone accumulator. I really love this. One thing, though, aren't they cellos rather than violins B
