Kristen has done some of the most interesting work. She's probably the coolest. She was on that Graham Norton thing last year with a bunch of co-stars and she hardly said a thing. I like that about her. I first saw her in The Runaways (I think) and she was very good in Personal Dresser and - oh, I don't know what else.
Saoirse Ronan just seems to walk into every part going and do a great job. She's incredibly grounded and likeable too - just 25. And she never had a day's actor training!
I like everything I've seen Jennifer Lawrence in but especially American Hustle. Margot Robbie is bland as fuck but great on-screen. Especially I, Tonya which was a fucking HOOT
So I had one more and I went for Shailene Woodley. But I'd have gone for a few others above her - probably Aubrey Plaza, who's the geek's geek. And whatserface with the round face who was in Little Women. She's fantastic. Oh, and that reminds me - Emma Watson, too.

I haven't heard of half of those so didn't vote. My own pick would be Carrie Mulligan, but she's not on the list.

Yeah, she's very good.
Scarlett is as young as one or two of these, you know. I'm never really sure what to think of her as an actress. But she's the highest-paid for sure

I started this thread because The Invisible Man with Moss came out today as well as Stewart in Seberg, about actress Jean Seberg. Stewart's supposed to be very good in it, although the movie itself got mixed reviews.

Well, she’s been working pretty steady since she was maybe 10. She’s lucked into some pretty juicy roles and seems to hold her own. I like her. I think both of her acclaimed roles this year probably deserved a certain amount of acclaim.
From the list I must say that I think Margot Robbie has really got some chops. I think she has a very stylized approach and this might make the characters a little more complex than they might appear on the page. I don’t think Emma Stone has had the juiciest parts but I think she’s pretty darned good too. Much of what was special about “Birdman” came from her big ol’ eyes at the end.
I’m a sucker for Jennifer Lawrence. I’ve watched “American Hustle” and “Silver Linings Playbook” a whole bunch of times and I think both are stronger films for her inclusion. She has a focus and just enough star quality that I think she can clobber a good role but can’t really help a poor role too much.
She’s pretty young but I’m keeping an eye on that little gal that was in “Logan” & “His Dark Materials” talk about focus! That kid shoots laser beams out of her eyes.

My adult daughter gets a lot of pleasure from detesting those “Twilight” movies so Kristen Stewart gets a lot of catcalls at my house. I thought she was surprisingly funny when she hosted SNL. You can tell from that “Seaberg” trailer that she doesn’t embarrass herself unduly.

"Younger" Elizabeth Moss will be 38 this July and Kelly Macdonald is 43
Chose Stone, Knightly, Ronan, Robbie, Lawrence from the listed choices..All have done fine work and I look forward to their future endeavors..
Woodley, Moretz Hailee Steinfeld (Not listed), Abigail Breslin (not listed)have potential, but need more substantial roles to show what they've got..
Brie Larson is one not mentioned, but has done some great work and will in the future

Another younger actress I really like who can slip between humor and drama is Anna Kendrick.
