Not sure what to make of either of these tracks..A is like someone singing after a stroke and B is Mr.Magoo trying to get laid and getting ripped in the process..Need to come back to this one..
Edit: Cannot bring myself to endorse either of these.. ABSTAIN

Yeah, A goes for utter anarchy, and B for suggestiveness, but A overdoes it and B has no idea where to go after establishing the premise. Neither are particularly humorous.
A, I guess, though I wish it were either way longer or way shorter.

The Goons
Arsenal fans, basically.
My dad loved them. But so did Prince Charles.
They have my vote. Nostalgia. I used to listen to my dad’s records. Childhood etc

The Goons were fun but a lot of the appeal comes from grown-ups acting like kiddies and it can annoy if you're not completely on-board (is that true for all comedy? I'm not sure)
B arguably also straddles the line between infectious and irritating but it's much more interesting AND enjoyable as a record, for me.

This is proving the category of least interest for me for a number of reasons ( although the main one is that humour often doesn't work in music). I can well understand why The Goons' brand of playful lunacy was such a breath of fresh air in post-war Britain. For those of us who weren't there at the time though there's not much more happening here than guys putting on silly, squeaky voices. I don't find it the least bit funny, but it does carry a certain amount of period charm. B seemed like a particularly interminable joke whose punchline never came.

B is just, what? What was the point of making this?

Someone my mum knows always blamed the death of her dad on Harry Secombe. He couldn't stand Harry, and one night when Highway started on TV he said "I'm not putting up with this", and went out walking the dog. Had a heart-attack, never returned.
It might be chaotic for the time, but it's not a particularly funny or interesting track.
B is annoying.
Neither.

Tough Crowd!!! I think they are both simply de-voone!
After some deliberation I choose A listening to that song is like somebody insisting that you dance when you don't want to dance. they keep insisting until you dance. you either manage to have a good time or you don't. I think the vocals are just delightful.

At least A isn't creepy.

I have this open in a small window (multi-talking while listening to tracks) scrolled down and saw the Ying Tang song. I though "really? Not going to be voting for that". Then I heard B.
