Don't like A particularly. Liked B till the singer opened his unfortunate gob, then really didn't.
Abstain.

Grasping at straws here. Both dreadful. A has an amusing video, B at least tries to have some song structure. But it gets a bit repetitive after the first minute, let alone after 5. And the guy doesn't fool me for a second with the opening PIL-isms before lapsing into standard shredder voice.
B I guess at least completes the assignment. A tries to bullshit its way through it with flash.
Worst draw of the cup so far? It's a contender.

QotSA did better - MUCH better - on the same album, but that one is a kind of modern classic.
Warrior Soul sound like a Poundstretcher Killing Joke - completely worthless, fooling no-one.

Trying not to be immediately negative about the AOR picks. A doesn't feel like much of a song here, that brief snatch of a guitar for 6 seconds just after the minute mark was really good, but the rest of this feels entirely empty. I don't get what it's trying to achieve. It's a nothing.
B is The Most Obvious Fonz Pick of The Cup. There definitely is something of the Killing Joke about B, and lets not forget, Killing Joke were a Poundland Killing Joke on albums like Outside the Gates and Hosannas. Not too bad really, it certainly is much more of a thing than the waste of 3 minutes that was A. The bass is quite nice, and the slightly psyche fuzz about the guitar wraps around the track nicely.

I like both. The QOTSA is just a lot of fun. Almost moronic, but that’s the point.
Warrior Soul. I fucking love this band. No apologies.

I dislike both, but I found the actual sound of B more dislikeable. So

Not a massive fan of either, tbh, but A is a bit better for me.

I liked QotSA at this time, have the album this is from somewhere in the attic, a hangover of my enjoyment of Josh's work with Kyuss. It's a bit slight, a one-joke song, but I like the odd squall of guitar.
Completely unfamiliar with this band. I don't particularly like Killing Joke, but don't know them well enough to see this as a pastiche, poundand or otherwise, or se that as a bad thing. Ultimately that's quite a racket behind the oddly accented voice, and I think I prefer it.
