I like him but, yeah. He's the perfect example of a talented modern artist that people just go so far over the top over it's a bit silly.

The 1975. Seriously, they played a track on radio 2 yesterday, and it even had the type of sax solo you only hear in shit 80s film soundtracks. They are Huey Lewis and the News.

Jay-Z. I like hip-hop as you all know, but I respect him more for getting Beyonce to marry him than his songs. You'd think the Black Album was Sgt. Peppers. It's not. I like three or four of his songs. Way overrated.

Totally agree on Jay-Z and Kanye..Never understood the reps they both have gotten with such mediocre material..As far as The 1975 (What the hell is with that name??) goes, can't say I've knowingly heard any song by them and if "New Jack Huey Lewis" is close to correct, don't think I ever will..

Amy Winehouse. Great voice, no argument there, but her material was very ordinary.

I wouldn't agree with that at all, G.
What I always found a bit lacking was any kind of enthusiasm for the material on her part. She always looked bored.

Lenny Kravitz
I know 3 of his songs and they're not that good. Don't see what the hype was ever about.

Back To Black, Rehab, Tears Dry On Their Own - the most well-known ones really. I've grown to like them more over the last few years.
