Went with "Foggy Notion" and Temptation inside your heart", because they sound like they were having fun making those two (Not always the case with them)...threw a vote to "Stephanie Says", but could have been any of the others, except "She's my best friend"...

I walked into an upscale grocery story here in Manhattan (previously spotted there: David Byrne) and what were they playing on the in-house system but Foggy Notion (turned out to be part of a Lou Reed... ugh, don't make me use the word "playlist"). When I first came across this track it was on this: which pre-dated the VU collection under discussion here by several years, and the un-re-mastered (or just plain un-mastered) sound of which I greatly preferred to the cleaned up, 80s-ized, digital-reverb-on-the-snare presentation on the official product. Still do. Anyway, it struck me as kind of remarkable and not a little sad that something that was once extremely rare and prized and important to me had become the equivalent of Muzak for the entitled assholes of Chelsea. (Coincidentally or not, the place is literally just around the corner from the Chelsea Hotel.)
