Thank you (those of you that made them) for your contributions.
Anyone who wants to focus on the relative merits or popularity of Siouxsie, please enjoy yourselves without me (preferably elsewhere). Not being a huge fan or terribly knowledgeable about them, I don't feel qualified to add anything to the discussion other than my 'perverse' opinions.
Have a nice day.

Threads drift off all the time, as you know, depending on what people find interesting in a thread. Things will get picked up on and they'll go in that direction. It's not a bad thing is it?

I'm perfectly calm, thanks. I don't have a problem with threads drifting. Just pointing out that I'm not interested in contributing to this particular 'drift.'

Fair enough. In the spirit of the thread I will nominate Bourgie Bourgie's negleted classic "Boiling Point". A wonderfully dramatic piece of sweeping romanticism as good as the mid 60s Walker Brothers singles. Paul Quinn was an amazing vocalist

OK, here's my own tangent. I'm not sure this is Procol Harum's best song, or even in their top ten, but it is their "masterpiece":
And in C's honor, it is also progtastic.
Of course, any arguments that this is their masterpiece are also accepted:
