My son keeps disturbing me at work and playing this thing, he can't stop cracking up at it. Worth the wait for the vocals to start. It's certainly a new sound in hip-hop...

It's not really new. it's basically 90s breakbeat with a touch of Gabba. You have my sympathies having to put up with it, it must've been one of the more unwelcome products of lockdown.

He'll need to work in his normal voice alongside at some point, or else he's in danger of becoming painted as a gimmick/novelty/one-off, otherwise seems solid.

Did you get to the vocals? Yes. I guess some rappers are influenced by Rakim or Nas say.....but his main man is Pinky and Perky.

This is a gentle possible response to being raised on a soundtrack of Alien Sex Fiend, Skinny Puppy, and Merzbow. I say well played. We are here if the son needs further direction, but I think he's started off well.

I couldn't listen all the way through because of the vocals. First summer hit of the year?
