Let's see what happens after a vaccine, but I think it'll be around in a varying degrees for a prolonged period.
No more JUs, thank god.

I was concerned about buying sno-cones from vendors but, now that you mention it, sexual encounters does seem like an important angle.

I guess, it depends upon when it occurs, if there is a vaccine, and if there are further virulent mutations

I think a lot of misanthropes love having an invisible force field around them in public places. they’ll never be willing to give it back.never!

I really hope it's an end to the people who stand an inch and a half behind you in a queue and breathe all over your neck, but those sort of cunts have no self awareness anyway.

Yeah, but it's not much different than when AIDS reared its ugly head. There were a few times where I felt I may have dodged a bullet because women I knew were using a needle or had been in contact with someone who used a needle. One, I only found about afterwards, and it kinda pissed me off she hadn't let me known.

It will be, because it has imprinted itself on the psyche in a tremendous manner.
Put this way, I don't think it'll ever go away completely. I'm pessimistic that a vaccine can be found - these things take years normally and the level of testing required to ensure it is safe requires years because of the necessity to track potential side-effects. My fear is that a fast-tracked vaccine ends up causing more damage than the virus itself.

AIDS is different though - you can't catch it unless you have sex with someone, received infected blood or share a needle. That's a significant level of interaction needed. Covid-19 has a mass of vectors on how it is transmitted.

It's terrible that young people are having to miss out on university in all its social forms because of this thing.
That age group is affected badly - not as much as the elderly, and in a different way, but it's just as harmful I think. I feel sorry for them.
