Today I found some cheese I thought we had finished, but it was just in a different sandwich bag. It was a delicious iberico that I thought I would never get to taste again. I bleated like a delighted little sheep.
I also found out that the loose translation of ladybird from Russian is "God's little cow".

Orson Welles' cheeks Toddler's running despite being wildly unstable Finding a house plant that is still alive despite being forgotten about for 5 months Mixed accents like German-Scouse Having a cheese parcel "lost in the post" and replaced, only to have it delivered by a neighbour later that day resulting in twice the cheese! Packages (like cheese, and several kilos of brownies) arriving in the post Those very light breezes on a really hot summery day that makes everything perfect Finishing a project that are several months or years in the making That dog I saw in the park who had caught a branch still very much attached to the tree, but thought he had a chance at running with it, resulting in about 20 minutes of pulling and springing into the air and refusing to give in before the tree. I didn't know anyone got cheese delivered through the post!

hmmm. what kind of cheese would your enemy send? Reminds me of a funny line in a Honeymooners episode this week. Norton asks Trixie to stop putting Limburger cheese in his sandwiches for lunch because the other guys he works with in the sewer don't like the smell.
