loved the powerhaus. they'd turned it into an 'all bar one' the last time i was around 'angel'. i remember that the last incarnation of the marquee was just across the road from it but i never went to that location.

an absolute disgrace that the astoria gave way to crossrail. in fact the whole demolition of that corner of charing cross road and oxford st is nothing short of urban terrorism.

I did go to that a few times but it was too hippy/crusty for my tastes. My best memories are of The Wag. Buying Slim Galliard a drink and pulling an American model were my two highlights!

I use to go there with a couple of other visiting female students at ULU. They were beautiful and we were always let right in.

I'm sure that first sentence isn't true! But it's lost its magic for me too. Soho is just a corporate space these days.. Still we should do it again sometime..just for old time's sake!
