Just leave Fish shouting into the void in the other one. Well, my first musical post in this thread was an attempt to invite him into the water. We'll sort it.

Been digging the original unremastered version, which seemed a bit disappointing at the time, but now seems to capture a time, and fits lazy summer days well.

I have come to be a big fan of the current London young lions jazz scene: Sons of Kemet, The Comet is Coming, Moses Boyd, etc., Theon is a tuba player who has become indispensable to the scene. Theon Cross Radiation Currently 74F sunny, breezy I'll have to check this one out later. The tuba playing on Your Queen is a Reptile is an absolute joy.

Afternoon symbols. Afternoon Fish. Afternoon all.
I loved the Comet is Coming album from last year. I've seen it described as "jazz for people who listen to EDM", which is basically me anyway, so great.
I'm listening to Owen Pallett's Island and "feeling" this atm

I'm listening to Owen Pallett's Island and "feeling" this atm You ever listened to Piano Magic, J? They've got a wide range of styles (not to mention personnel, it 's like the Fall in there at times) and one of them is a dead ringer for this. Right now I'm playing this rather beautiful thing: And now that's done, this, which is a candidate for the earworm thread: But now I got some editing to do, so that's enough playing for now.

I thought it was marvellous. A revelation. I was brought up to believe that LZ ,and long haired folk in general, were the enemy.

I just heard "I'm Coming Out" from that Diana Ross "Diana" album. man, I heard that thing to death when it was new. I think today is the first time I realized how much I like it.

I was eyeing a pristine set Zeppelin TMQ vinyl boots the other day, nice stuff.

Tuusanuuskat - Naaksaa Naa Mun KyyneleetPsychedelic organ and electronics by a band whose name apparently means "total shambles", from the ever-reliable Fonal Records. Lined acetate insert provided to give the cover art some kind of lenticular effect.

I can't figure out if David Crosby just has a bad sense of melody or it's so sophisticated and subtle I can't figure 'em out. Pleasant enough album.

Malaria! - Compiled 2.0One of the key acts of the NDW scene, emerging from the ashes of Mania D with a more straight-forward and bleak sparse version of post-punk. Gudrun Gut is one of the under-appreciated greats of modern music, if you ask me. Having said that, one of the 'hit' tracks which got them some airplay, "Kaltes Klares Wasser" does remind me of "Is Vic There?".

It had shorter/absent Moby Dick and Dazed, which I still find tedious. I wish it didn’t have The Rain Song either. Appalling song. But, rock n rolll, no quarter, and stairway, are all amazing- better than the records.

Listened to it on my walk. It's a fun album, although this stuff can get a little tedious after awhile.

One of my all-time favourite albums. Just has all the bass and feedback you'll ever need.
