Sad news. I was a fan in the 80's.

Chris n' Cosey do some minimal techno throbbing while Nik Colk Void from Factory Floor makes abstract guitar noises, live in front of an audience. The studio-based follow-up, F(x), was even better.

From 2018, only the third solo album from one of the key figures of the German experimental/underground scene since the late 70s.

Experimental black metal from 2003, with dark ambient and industrial influences. To me a lot if it soudns influenced by Killing Joke circa Revelations, there's something very dissonant and off-putting about the guitars, slightly queasy sounding. I don't think the album as a whole stands up to be as interesting as all that sounds though.

Vanishing Twin - Ookii Gekkou Stylistically all over the map. It starts out sounding like a jazzier Broadcast, moves into east African-style grooves, then exotica before settling back into straight Broadcastness. I think several people here would dig it.

ovpain.bandcamp.com/album/the-churning-blue-of-noonNew release by a duo from Australia and New Zealand, and I was impressed enough to shell out for the vinyl. The sticker on the front describes then as "experimental, psychedelic dark-wave inspired by drone and free jazz", which is fair enough, and to me it sounds like Nico's Marble Index with a hint of Cocteaus and some skronk.

Roots Manuva - BleedsUK hip-hop, the best track from which recently absolutely set the world on fire in the last preludin cup.

Lou Reed's best solo album? It's the only one I own, anyway.
