Currently on "Come to Daddy" which is possibly the greatest song ever. Even better than the Aphex Twin track.

Wrekmeister Harmonies - Light FallsSomewhat surprising they're not better known, as at least on this album three of the main band are from Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Sort of doom-metally in a Black Sabbath does chamber music kinda way, and post-rock flourishes are never far away. Lovely Nick Blinko artwork, too.

But without any real tunage, probably even with it's, not hard to get what they do. Which they do well, but a single album or a few will do. Though i hope they continue to do what they do.

Die Todliche Doris reworking material from 1981/1982, in a kind of Oval-ish fashion, if I was being kind. It's a bit pointless really.

No wave/punk/jazz/improv thing from The Netherlands in 1981. All over the place musically, and quality-wise. Interesting though.

Lydia Lunch appeared in my dream last night for some odd reason.

MSHB's debut gig in 1984 which was part of a bill with Hi-Rise, and another gig from a year later. Really fuzzy, badly recorded tape stuff, but that uniquely naive sound was fully realised right from the start.

Never really got into this one much. Lacked the off-kilter beats and poetry of Cleanse..., and wasn't as outright aggressive as Too Dark Park
