We can be amused AND have sympathy, right? It's one of Ricky gervais go to moves in his writing isn't it? I think you can, but it's depends on the specific situation. In this case, i wouldn't really blame someone for laughing but i don't think you should spread it around over t'internet.

See i thought i heard that but wasn't sure. It's a nothing situation for me, guy has social and/or mental issues. You just hope he can get the help he needs. Precisely this. I would add the other guy is a wanker for posting it.

The gentlemen in the first video is too active and engaged for schizophrenia, a more distracted deaden affect would be the usual presenting feature. The video needs more context. It does appear there is some familiarity amongst the doorman, the main gentlemen and the one filming. I don't know why he isn't being let in, which could be causing agitation, and anxiety which is causing the animation that we see. However, this could be the base from which he could spiral into real upset or nothing happens and he simply moves on. If he is a known entity, I would have hoped for a little more kindness. Needs more context...

It's trending on Twitter under 'Vic Reeves' because he looks like him (or one of his characters - supposedly). Most people are saying it's shameful to retweet and laugh because he's obviously got mental issues. Some agree, but 'I'll set the cats on yer' is a great line. And some think it's the funniest thing you'll see today. We can be amused AND have sympathy, right?Yes sure, but I don't see anything remotely amusing in this clip.

It's in Tynemouth. It was posted on a football forum I use and someone said he was a former lecturer at a college who since ran into issues. Well, alleged history aside, I didn't think it was "funny" or even "amusing." Now, this is funny.

He needs a haircut and could substitute a salad or two for regular meals also. We are at a unique time in history in that one can be both obese and malnourished at the same time because of our highly processed based diets.

Turns out that he posts as an abjectly tedious Newcastle fan who I've crossed swords with a couple of times. Ah well he's had his 15 mins of fame now.

So the Newcastle fan is the gentleman who was filmed or the one who did the filming?

The guy after the cat treats. I don't know soccer, but is that typical of a Newcastle fan?

Knowing now that he has mental issues are you going to take his posts with a grain of salt and go easy on him?
