I have to admit to being introduced to The Master's Apprentices very recently, probably by Fange on a BCB thread, but they're wonderful. For example:

Great track, ssa. One of the best bands Australia produced in the 60s. I also have a lot of time for their 70s singles, though they weren't as exciting as the early stuff.

CIVIC is a Melbourne band started in 2017. Their first few singles and EPs are fine punky rock and roll, very indebted still to their musical loves, and the first album Future Forecast in 2021 built on that solid foundation.
2023's Taken by Force though was a bigger step forward. Produced by Rob Younger (Radio Birdman, New Christs, etc), it saw them writing stronger songs and making better recordings that sounded like CIVIC rather than simply a copy of previous bands.
