Legally of course.
I genuinely don't know. I think there is or was a shop that sold guns in a town about 30 minutes from me but i'm not sure. I'm assuming i'd have to go to Dublin to buy one. Going up to Norn Iron would be hassle getting it across the border, again, legally.

There are lots of places to buy guns in Canada, including online, but to purchase one legally requires passing a firearms safety course and then applying for and receiving a Possession and Acquisition License, which needs to be renewed every five years.
'Guns' in this sense only really applies to rifles. You need a special license to own a handgun, and then you need a permit just to transport it anywhere outside your home. There's an "assault-style" rifle ban in the works, which will restrict ownership of those similarly.

There's a gun shop just up the road, took over a pub that closed down, now calls itself The Dog and Cartridge. Never been in it.

Not off the top of my head but there is a shooting club just round the corner which may be good for info...
I've used a bb sniper rifle if that counts.

I've seen guns sold at auction. I don't quite know how that works!

I've seen guns sold at auction. I don't quite know how that works! We've sold lots of antique guns at auction, but the rule here is that it can only be sold if you can longer buy ammunition for it.

Yeah I thought it might be something like that. But you could put something else down it instead. Do you have those really hard mint imperials over there. I reckon being shot with one of them is almost as bad as taking a bullet!
