Before reading the article, I had planned to joke that they'd still be around if they had changed their name to 21st Century Fox at least 20 years ago.
But (after reading the article) all of the re-brands still have "20th Century" in them.
Maybe they figure the public just likes the 20th century more than the 21st.

More worried about how Disney is getting away with all this?

there's no vault like Disney's vault. they stuck a LOT of FOX titles in there. I wonder how long that'll last. will they become assets for their streaming empire or will they just sit on them until another "hard copy" format?

Well I still think "20th Century Fox" as it is, was the brand. Lots of things are 20th century, this was 20th Century Fox. With a distinct logo and brand. Secondly, it isn't just a relabel of a product, the product is Disney. Fuckers.

Well, I'm as fond of brands and logos I grew up with as the next person.
But I suspect this has to do with disassociating the studio from Murdoch's Fox Corporation. And I'm okay with that.

there are a lot of movies that won't look right to me if they don't have the fanfare and the logo and all that crap. Fantastic Voyage, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, the Simpsons Movie...
I remember when all the Peter Paul candy bars became Nestle candy bars. it was a dark day in Gotham.
