EDITED INTRO: (the short version) I like talking about films without worrying about Spoilers. I'll assume you've either seen the movie I'm talking about or you don't care about spoliers.one of the things I miss most about going to the movies with friends is going for coffee or something afterwards and talking about what we've just seen. we don't have to worry about SPOILERS because we've all seen it. I miss that. I'll never forget an afternoon in Westwood discussing a movie we'd just seen over schooners of beer. Actually, I can't remember the movie for the life of me but I remember the beer and talking to friends and how this was such a great part of the movie going experience. so, I want to see if I can get a thread going that's something like that. you don't post or read in here without ASSUMING that there will be spoilers - that way we don't have to warn you.

Nowadays it's simple, either the Marvel or DC characters ultimately pull it off against all odds and win in the end!

Hamburger Hamlet! They had ones actually shaped like ships but they were hard to grab onto after a couple of goes.

I really like the idea of this thread. I hope it takes off eventually.
Not that I currently have anything of substance to contribute to it, of course.

Hamburger Hamlet! They had ones actually shaped like ships but they were hard to grab onto after a couple of goes. Never ventured in there...Hell, that place has been gone since mid 1995..Even the place that replaced it (Jerry's Deli) has shut down. It's currently a Taco Bell and Beauty School..

Hamburger Hamlet! They had ones actually shaped like ships but they were hard to grab onto after a couple of goes. I worked there. Though only sporadically at the Westwood location.

“ I’m Thinking of Ending it All”It seems like Lucy is a figment of Jake’s imagination. Don’t you think?

”I’m Thinking of Ending it All” Do you think Jake is alive or dead at the end of the film?

I think maybe Jake is a repressed homosexual. I think this because of the way he’s imagined Lucy & the awkwardness of their physical interactions. There are a couple of pointed conversations about it. In one Jake defends citing statistics from when it was diagnosed as a disorder, Lucy is very upset by this, also, Jake’s Dad (Thewlis) calls someone “a Nancy” Jake is a big fan of musical theatre. I am too so I know a lot of people presume this means you’re gay.
