If you get more bookings then of course it is.
I guess May to August could be busy with bookings for you as people explore Cumbria and your flat is well placed in the middle of the town.

Yes, I think so. One fella wanted to book for the whole of August - I said it wasn't possible (in fact it IS, but it would mean me staying in the student halls in Edinburgh for the whole month)

Kids are pretty funny and they don't know it sometimes. I texted my son that he needed to get a job or go to school when he got back from his trip to see his mom.
He texted me back that he was going to punch me when I picked him up from the airport.
I laughed and texted him back, writing, "Why would I pick someone up from the airport who is going to punch me as thanks?"

Went out with the psychologist woman today on a walk in a park with her dog. I will not be going out with her again - She's never seen The Three Amigos, and some other stuff.

Just heard this morning from his wife that another of my friends, Pete Harris (not THAT one, obvs) died last week of myeloma. What a fucking week.

Yeah, ditto on your week, Ray. Hard to hear your friends not doing well.
I remember when I was younger and my parents friends going down one by one, pretty frequently, it seemed. Friends they'd known since they were kids.

Ray would love Oregon. I stopped at my convenience store for a tall can of IPA and then visited my local pot store. The clerk, in blonde dreadlocks, pointed me towards some Indica when I asked for something mellow. They must have had 20 jars of differennt buds. I bought two grams for $25.

are they still a thing? maybe just better to pull them up and modernise. Just in the bedrooms. I'll probably get rid of them at some point. Just had me second jab. No after-effects yet. In fact I could CRUSH A GRAPE

I don't touch the stuff but I love seeing the pot displayed in what seem to be pickle jars or some such. It makes me wish I still had those Welch's "Flintstones" glasses from when I was a kid.
