Nice car, are they not common in the UK?
Not on my street, they're not.
Gotcha Growing up you always had to mind the alleys, and a Lotus, Maserati, Ferrari, Pantera, etc parked or prowling As beautiful and unexpected as they were to see, they always meant trouble.

Just discovered that Noelle Gordon (of cheap ITV soap Crossroads fame) was the star of the first ever colour TV broadcast, by John Logie Baird in 1928. Just seems weird to have a historical figure like Logie-Baird connected to people of my lifetime, in such a dreary kind of way.

I don't usually drink during the week, but decided to have a couple glasses of red wine, also an anomaly. Drinking from Cline Cellars: Cline Family Cellars is a family-owned and operated winery in Sonoma, California, built on a passion for winemaking and rooted in respect for the land. Fred Cline started Cline Family Cellars in 1982 in Oakley, California, making his first vintages from original plantings of Mourvedre, Zinfandel, and Carignane, some of which dated back to the 1880's. In 1989, Fred purchased a 350-acre horse farm in Carneros and moved the winery to Sonoma County. As one of the original Rhone Rangers, he began planting varietals that included a number of vineyards dedicated to Syrah, Viognier, Marsanne, and Roussanne. Since those first plantings, Fred and his wife Nancy have continued to plant vineyards throughout Sonoma County, expanding to include more classic varieties like Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Chardonnay. Our winemaker, Charlie Tsegeletos, allows grapes to tell their story. He doesn’t over-oak or manipulate the wines. Instead, Charlie uses blending to highlight and showcase the best that mother nature offers from each vintage. This is a medium-bodied, luscious red wine with nicely balanced acidity, plum, chocolate, and berry notes and a smooth, rich finish. An unpretentious, yet piquant blend (that's me).

This fell out of my head earlier this week. It's an implant of a molar I had put in a few months ago. That screw is supposed to be in my jawbone, but as you can tell, it is not anymore.

That's the first time I've heard of someone literally having a screw loose.

It's funny the ads that appear on this site because of browing history and what not. Usually, I see real estate ads, but just now I saw an ad for a Univ. of Oregon athletics chat forum - it was Donald Duck (Oregon mascot is Ducks) in a little green and yellow UofO uniform.

God knows what I've done to deserve the ad on this page. I shit you not, "Understanding Elevator Emergency Communication Code Compliance".

This guy came across my Facebook timeline in a friend suggestion I haven't seen in years. Back in my early 30s when I was playing rec league basketball we'd give nicknames to guys on opposing teams. The guy who came across my timeline was this shorter, stockier guy with a bushy mustache. Our nickname for him was Ron Jeremy, after the porn star.
In a timeout we'd say, "Who's guarding Ron Jeremy?" Stuff like that.

I'm watching a webinar on B2B social media put on by UK PR firm and they used a product press release I did in Adobe Spark and posted in Linkedin.

Last night I was driving home on a residential side street I haven’t used in a while. I noticed some signs posted next to the Stop signs at a few intersections so I stopped to read one. The signs next to the stop signs were reminders to people that they need to stop at the stop signs.
Got that? Let’s review. Near my neighborhood there are signs next to the stop signs telling people that they need to stop at stop signs.
Something tells me that this might not be a very effective strategy.
