Well, you know, fair enough, he wasn't the most talented person in the world and all the booze/drugs stuff has given him a kind of status he maybe hasn't deserved. But how about giving the documentary a go? And what about the other things I've recommended here? Did you watch the Fela Kuti documentary? Any more thoughts about Fish Tank?

Last night I only really watched MasterChef. But I do contribute quite a lot!

So it's obvious that I'm talking to myself here but I'll give it one last go 'cos it's Saturday night and all...
Tonight's highlight is the Maradona film which airs at 9.30 pm on C4.
If you're up late, couple of good films - Westworld on BBC 1 at 12.20 am, and Arrival at 12.05 on Channel 4

I'm slightly perplexed what kind of response you're looking for, other than "..that sounds good, I might watch that". Difficult to get much discussion beyond that with things people haven't yet seen. I do think it's quite a useful thread though which I'm sure people will post into and use over time.

Loved the Bee Gees doc, loved the Whitehouse/Mortimer thing even more, and right now really enjoying Alan Bennett on BBC Four.
