Watched Total Rickall last night.
Not gonna bother with any more, it was ok but I was really irritated by the main dudes voice acting, shrill and shouty.
I did like some of the minor characters, the ghost in a jar made me chuckle and the rainbow shat out by the magic unicorn thingy was lovely to look at.
Never been that bothered by these post-Simpsons animations. South Park is great ((occasionally) ditto Futurama)) and I’ve liked what I’ve seen of Bojack (the episode with the Angry ex-military chap was good fun) but I think I lack the disbelief-suspension to be able to process animation. I feel the same about Pixar and Anime, yes, I am a monster.

Perhaps Jones the Bellow could write a song about my error, backed by Blanck Mass?

It took me a couple of episodes to adjust to R&M and now I can't get enough. There's always a couple of jawdropping moments in every episode, just wild stuff that comes out of nowhere. I admire that level of creativity. I don't know. Some things are worth the effort, but if you've tried.... There's a lot of stuff out there and life is short and all that.

Just figured out after all this time that I can set my VPN to a UK ip address and watch UK Netflix that way (ditto for the US).

In recent years I have enjoyed both Archer and Big Mouth but went off both eventually. I often feel they just produce too many episodes of these things and/or end up screwing around with the formula to keep it fresh and spoil it. Life is too short to watch ANOTHER tv series with 200 episodes or whatever.

I've not watched Rick & Morty, but on the animation front I LOVE Adventure Time, which is sort of idiotic and psychedelic at the same time.

New season starts tonight on E4 (UK) Fucking A. I just hope they maintain that level of imagination throughout the season.

Episode one of season 5 was brilliant, hey. The way the civilisation on the other side of the portal grew and reacted to Morty just coming through to get some wine 🤣 and Nimbus was absolute gold, had me laughing out loud.
The 2nd was good but a touch too repetitive and relying too much on dialing up the absurdity of the premise. 3 was back to gold though, and Summer has become an absolute joy. The storyline had everything good about the show - extreme humour and pathos mixed just right. Planetina and her "kids" had me in stitches.
