Lots of good-natured silliness and laughs.

I've always believed there is silliness galore on those reels, even in the original film that presented a lot of the testiness that I'm sure was there in abundance in real time as well.
Hopefully this'll be a more complete picture rather than a whitewashing of the fact that it really was, ultimately, a band in the midst of breaking up. (It probably really went into effect with the White Album, but the cameras weren't rolling.)
The bottom line is, all bands argue AND have fun together, have serious moments where they "get down to business" and probably have tons of utterly mundane conversations. The music will be good in this one, at least.

I read something somewhere recently that implied that Let It Be was being re-released as well (which surprised me) - so perhaps they'll balance each other.

Lennon certainly cuts a sparkier persona than the one commonly imagined at this time (monosyllabic, hung out on smack etc.).

Sounds like it's been a Hard Day's Night working Eight Days a Week on the film.
More Beatles, all of the time.

set your Beatles brand wrist watches to "FUN".
I've noticed a sea change in the Seven Seas of Beatle Fandom lately. The Beatles were ALWAYS having fun seems to be the new prevailing wisdom. Junior Martin seemed to stress this when he was promoting the Deluxe White Album and I've been hearing a lot of that sort of thing since.
In my heart of hearts I feel like there could be cannibalism in that 56 hours of unseen footage and we would still be getting a fun movie of fun Beatles having fun.
OK. I'll bite. I love the preview. I love seeing the Beatles having fun.

The "Two of Us" through clenched teeth is pretty funny. Maybe they had fun and were arguing at the same time for some of it (shock-horror).
It also looks like it might perpetuate the idea (probably true) that the arrival of Billy Preston lightened the mood considerably.

It will be interesting to see how Yoko comes off in this, and the public's reaction to her presence.
