I did better than last time! Cheers G. Your mistake was not going for a second Sailor track instead of Neil Young!

Yeah. Bit surprised by the antipathy towards Young (and Joni) but it was quite a personal choice. That song has given me real comfort this year. No shame in losing in a group with the Mike Boom of Preludin. Faaaaaaaaange!!!!

maybe in future cups, a place in the final can be awarded to the highest placed runner-up? it seems terribly unfair that JC missed out despite finishing above both finalists in the other group. I finished fifth in the difficult group, but had a better point differential than anyone in the other group.

But that's just because in round 7 everybody went deaf and voted against my Mary Gauthier excellent pick!

You were in the 'Group of Ease" whereas I was in the "Group of Petrifying Death" and I won't recover from the ordeal for years..

The group of E's would've been a blessing.

I was two switched votes away from finishing fourth, so the group couldn't have been that difficult..

So, by reckoning, three guys with two wins each and the points difference is
Oleander Meridian 34-26 Lokifange 32-28 Clive Gash 30-29
And the Timi Yuro tie was what swung it OM's way
Would that be right, G?

Sounds about right.
Congratulations Oleander!
Wonderful stuff, after all, like the black pudding industry, the Preludin Cup needs new blood if it is to thrive.

I knew I should’ve saved Solange for the finals.
