B is fun in its way, lots of attitude and rocking sound but not something that i would put on much, to be fair. A is pretty and something i feel happy to hear most days.

A's voice is horrible.
B is pretty lousy, but I could imagine enjoying it at a gig or something.

I've heard "You and Your Sister" hundreds of times and I love it, but I've never heard that particular Troggs tune before and it's really hitting the spot right now. I love that dissonance in the verses!

Chris Bell
Another from the alt-canon. Better Save Yourself is the one.
Troggs
..go all Crazy Horses. Thick as fuck.
They needed to put a little bit of fucking fairy dust over the bastard.

Is it the Covid blues that makes the Troggs' brutalism more enjoyable?

The problem with A, and the album it’s from, is Chris Bell’s voice. I can’t get along with B at all I’m afraid. I keep hoping it will turn into Crazy Horses. A lukewarm A

finally, what a great tie! i love the chris bell track and it's been a while since i last heard it. the troggs track is completely new to me. i had no idea that they were still making great songs in the early 70s. very glam.
tough choice, but B gets my vote because it's new and fresher.

the only track you've ever voted for of mine, ray, so the bluff worked. I never think of who might have posted any particular track, skope, just vote on what I hear. I genuinely don't give a shit who wins.
And the only reason I voted for Morons on Mogadon is because the Chris Bell track was horrible, so there

Good one, skope. No complains about being beaten by an excellent track.
I had anticipated some negative comments about my pick on the basis of being too obvious (alt-canon as Clive said), but I didn't expect so many comments against the song itself. To me it is a miniature masterpiece, especially in the single version featured here. Each to his own, I guess.
